Did you know that shocking, terrifying, exciting, immensely joyous experiences are stored in our body as memory?

Sometimes, it shows up as body memory, like when you have a reaction to something that you didn’t actively choose

You may feel all over the place, a smidge out of control, confused, and even justified in your reaction. But you’ve begun wondering about heaviness in your chest, tingles in your belly, or tension in your shoulders.

If this resonates with you, I want you to know….

For a while, I struggled with assigning right and wrong to every moment I felt too much or too intensely. I eventually became afraid of disappointment and, in turn, lost touch with excitement. How did these emotions physically feel if I couldn’t even name them?

Since coming to that realization, process has become a huge part of my identity. I’d disclaim that I didn’t know what I was feeling, but if I have the space to talk through it, will you listen?

I want to share with you what I’ve learned this far in my mapping process. And this quarterly communing will include just that and much more!
