You do not need to have any previous knowledge of any of the art practices. However, it can feel encouraging and even exciting when you lean to a smidge of willingness when engaging in creative wellness.

A Guide to Connecting with the Body through Authentic Movement and Storytelling. The event will guide participants through a series of activities that help them develop a unique movement to encapsulate and communicate an aspect of their individual story.

What to Expect

  • A guided body focus activity

  • Exploration of movement sequences

  • Intuitive movement storytelling & share

Each movement sequence will be created in active collaboration with the group or individual present. We will draw inspiration from natural elements as well as traditional practices from the African Diaspora!
